The legend himself, Sir Paul McCartney, is returning to Philadelphia this summer as part of his worldwide One On One Tour. Last summer Paul was here performing at the Wells Fargo Center. You can catch him when he returns to the Philly stage on July 12th. Tickets for this one go on sale on Friday, April 22nd, and this will be hugely popular so act quickly.
In a special announcement on their website, the Phillies stated that the upcoming show will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles USA Stadium Tour which was held at JFK Stadium then. To coincide with the concert, the team will be hosting a Beatles Night at CBP on August 16th, when the team plays against the Dodgers. The first 1500 theme night purchases will also take home a limited edition anniversary fleece blanket, so grab tickets for that as well.
And if last year’s performance was any indication, Sir Paul is still an amazing performer who shows no signs of slowing down. Pulling from his full catalog of music, Paul performed classic Beatles hits as well as a slew of solo songs and Wings classics.
