On Saturday, May 7th, you’ll first want to hit up the South Street Festival. They’ll have a ton of local music and, as always, great food and drinks all day long. Then, you can keep the party going when you head over to Johnny Brenda’s to catch Born Ruffians. They’re bringing along support from On An On, so be sure to get there early to catch both of these sets.
Born Ruffians, are of course, out supporting their latest release, RUFF, which dropped in October of last year. In celebration, the Canadians are headed out on tour with Minneapolis-based rockers On An On. Together, Born Ruffians have been making music for some time. They dropped their first album, the well-received Red, Yellow & Blue, in 2008. Since then, they’ve been steadily releasing new music every few years, with albums in 2010, 2013, and then again in 2015.
On An On released their debut in 2013, and a follow up in July of last year. Take a listen to And the Wave Has Two Sides before heading to JB’s on May 7th to catch both acts!
