In the long list of prominent bands and artists that took the stage at Coachella, Grimes is certainly one of the most notable. The unique singer-songwriter has caught fire over the last couple of years, and her name is one of the most anticipated for this year’s music festival circuit.
At Coachella she did not disappoint. A complete set of original songs from her LP’s such as 2012’s breakthrough Visions, and last year’s Art Angels were performed to great approval. On top of that, she brought out several guest performers including Janelle Monae for “Venus Fly” and Aristophanes for “Scream”. Check out the entire performance below:

It will be interesting to see what Grimes’ next move is. A new studio album, additional tour dates, and collaborations are all possible, given the demand for her music in the last few years. For now, you can catch her at a bevy of festivals this Summer, and enjoy her live performances there.
If her set at Coachella was any indication, it will be well worth the price of admission.
