Electronic music duo, AlunaGeorge, have just released the video for their song, “I Remember.”
The song is a collaboration with the much loved Australian electronic musician Flume. “I Remember” comes off their forthcoming album of the same name.
The single is chill, spatial, romantic and intimate. It’s a bit softer than AlunaGeorge’s usual sound, and Flume’s influence can definitely be heard in the song.
The music video shares the intimate and chill vibe of the song as well. It traces singer Aluna’s movements across her bedroom. The timelapse sees her moving across the room, and the jump cuts and editing create an almost magical feel to it. As the video continues, she is joined by a romantic interest and they dance, sit and lay in bed together, before Aluna is left alone in her bed once more as the video began.
AlunaGeorge hails from London, England and have been active since 2012. The duo is made up of Aluna Francis, in charge of vocals and songwriting, and George Reid, responsible for instrumentation and production.
The duo released their first album, Body Music, in 2013 and reached critical success. Their next album, I Remember, is planned to be released later in April. Though the duo have only released on album thus far, they have a few EPs and remix albums under their belt.
The duo are touring across the world this year, and will be hitting up various festivals this summer, including the famous UK festival Glastonbury.
