At the very last moment, many attendees at 2016’s version of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be getting some very disappointing news. Three big-time names have dropped their first weekend sets. Skepta, Sasha and Lush will not be performing as previously scheduled. Grime artist Skepta was denied his work visa, leaving not only his Coachella performance cancelled but an entire slate of live shows in the United States in jeopardy.

Meanwhile, Welsh DJ Sasha had bad news for EDM fans, citing a personal medical emergency for the cancellation of his set.

Finally, one of the most anticipated performances of Coachella 2016 will not happen during the first weekend. The reunited shoegaze legends Lush were scheduled to perform over the weekend, but that will not be happening this week. According to band management, the British quartet ran into visa issues, which prevented them from fulfilling their scheduled set on the first weekend. No word as of yet whether they will be able to perform their set at the second weekend of Coachella.
UPDATE (4/16/2016, 1:00 PM PST): Coachella has officially announced the cancellation of Lush’s afternoon set on Saturday. Still no confirmation on whether or not the band will make it next weekend.
