New York City’s one and only ska-core/punk band, Leftover Crack, announced that they will be performing at the Music Hall of Williamsburg with support from folk punk band, Days N Daze On June 19th
The punk rock vets just announced a list of upcoming tour dates earlier this week that will hit most of the East Coast, Canada and the UK. Leftover Crack will be finishing up their US tour right in their own backyard – Brooklyn. Known for their politically motivated, and often socially provocative, lyrics and imagery, Leftover Crack has come out with countless records, EP’s and splits since their beginnings in 1992 as Choking Victim. Although they’ve been quiet for the past few years, they came out with their newest record, Constructs of the State, in 2015. It was their first full-length record since coming out with their critically acclaimed record, Fuck World Trade, in 2004. But wait, there’s more. They just covered Men At Work’s song, Down Under, and released it on Soundcloud earlier this week. Check it out.
The folk punk, “thrashgrass” band from Houston, Days N Daze, will also be hitting the road in support of Leftover Crack’s upcoming tour. The band has a huge underground following and will be headed to the UK for the first time ever during this tour. The DIY punk band came out with their most recent record, Rogue Taxidermy, in 2013 but are set to come out with their newest record, Crustfall, sometime this year. Check out their song, Misanthropic Drunken Loner.
