Jane’s Addiction Announce Summer 2016 Tour Dates Featuring Dinosaur Jr. And Living Colour

Jane’s Addiction are going on tour to play their 1990’s classic Ritual de lo Habitual, with support from Dinosaur Jr.

UPDATE: Jane’s Addiction expand ‘Ritual’ tour with Dinosaur Jr, and add a third show to their NYC-area shows. The third show will be on July 17 at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets go on sale Friday (4/29) at noon.

The once LA scene dominant alt-rock vets Jane’s Addiction will be following up their Nothing’s Shocking tour of last year, where they performed the 1988 album, with new tour this year. They will perform Nothing’s Shocking follow up album, 1990’s Ritual de lo Habitual and expect to bring the same energy to the hit album that they always have. They have invited Dinosaur Jr for support on all dates for the tour. Dinosaur Jr is also involved on another tour with 90’s legend, Primus. For a full List of tour dates see below.

The highly anticipated tour will hit the New York City area on July 15 at the Amphitheater at the Coney Island Boardwalk, according to Brooklyn Vegan. The tour will then take the two bands to stops in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and will finally wrap up at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois on July 28-31. The tour is not extensive in anyway but there is one guarantee for any fan of Jane’s and that is they will bring everything they got to any one of these shows.

Before the group sets off on this newly announced tour they have a couple of shows that they need to wrap up first, all included below. Jane’s is set to perform at the Shakey Knees festival in Atlanta, GA and then they have a couple European shows after that. They will be at Download Festival in Leicester and Amnesia Rockfest in Quebec to name a few.
