All of this summer’s must-see shows are already being announced. And this Friday, April 8th, tickets for another one go on sale. The show of course is Whilk & Misky’s upcoming gig at Johnny Brenda’s. It’s slated for June 8th. Grab your tickets for the 21+ engagement this Friday.
In addition to their headlining gigs, the duo will also be performing at a number of festivals this summer, including stops at GovBall, Bonnaroo, and Firefly. But you’ll definitely want to catch this rising talent, while you still can, on the intimate Johnny Brenda’s stage.
Whilk & Misky (real names Nima & Charlie) have been making waves since they first started recording music together. And to add to their growing momentum, the UK pair just released a new track, the soulful “I Want Your Lovin.” They’ve released a few other singles since their much-applauded 2014 EP The First Sip. The pair feels like such a perfect fit that it’s hard to believe that they only met in 2012. But as a testament to their natural chemistry, they became fast friends and moved in together within three months. They started making music, and the rest is history.
