Eyehategod formed in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a prominent member of the New Orleans metal scene. They have been active since 1988, and its members have changed over the years. Its current members include Jimmy Bower, Mike Williams, Brian Patton, Gary Mader, and Aaron Hill.
The band released their first album in 1992, and have released 5 studio albums in total, with several other EPs and compilation albums. Their latest release was a self-titled album released in 2014.
