Pantyraid has just announced a new album, Afterglow, that will be released on April 29th through The Glitch Mob’s Glass Air imprint. This album has everything that fans have been waiting for since 2013’s Pillowtalk, with a mix of hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music that is set apart from just any club music.
“These are love songs for the club, They’ll make you dance your ass off, and give you an emotional charge.” Said Marty Party of Pantyraid. He and Josh Mayer (Glitch Mob) make up and unbeatably paired team that gives off an energy that is so rich and enticing.
Their first single off the album: “Wanting Moves” just dropped on April 1st, and “6 AM” will be released on April 15th, giving fans plenty to look forward over the entire month of April.
The band began back in 2008 when the two pop singers went by Martin Folb and Josh Mayer. In 2009 they released their first album: “The Sauce”. The inspiration behind their music was to create dance songs that were complex in song structure and not simply the average beats of a four on four structure that you often find in clubs.
Pantyraids will also take off on an extensive tour, beginning April 16th at Coachella on their Do Lab Stage.
