Emo/indie band, Dowsing, recently announced that they are headed to Brooklyn this May 28th to perform at DIY basement venue, Suburbia.
The four piece from Chicago recently announced that they will be hitting the road in support of their upcoming LP. Their forthcoming LP, Okay, will be their third release and is set to come out on April 29th via Asian Man Records. The band just released their newest single off the anticipated LP, Dissolve, on Soundcloud this week. Check it out.
The upcoming show at Suburbia couldn’t be more fitting. Not only will Dowsing be performing in a perfect setting, a Brooklyn basement, but Chicago indie band, Kittyhawk, will also be playing. The band also features Erik Hunter Czaja, guitarist/vocalist of Dowsing, and if you’re a sucker for basement emo bands – you’re in for a treat. Check out their song, Welcome Home, that appeared on their 2014 record, Hello, Again.
If want to catch Dowsing w/ Kittyhawk at Suburbia on May 28th all you have to do is, well, show up. Like most basement shows, there are no tickets for the event and costs $5 at the door.
