Bay Area r&b singer Kehlani has been hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt.
Last night, the singer posted a photo on Instagram of an IV drip in her arm. The post has since been deleted, along with her entire account. “Today I wanted to leave this earth,” the caption had read. “Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point.”
The internet has been abuzz for two days now as rumors around the 20 year old singer continue to swirl. The whole drama began to unfold two days ago when producer/singer/OVO member PARTYNEXTDOOR posted a photo on his own instagram account that appeared to show the two in bed together.
The only problem is that the common knowledge was that Kehlani was at the time dating Cleveland Cavaliers superstar Kyrie Irving.
People began to attack Kehlani on all social media outlets, calling her a cheater and berating her with memes and other hurtful words.
The singer immediately deleted her instagram, but then came back onto the platform this morning to post about the attempt to take her life, along with thanking PARTYNEXTDOOR for saving her life. It appears that Kehlani has since deleted her instagram again.
