The Grid Fest NYC Announces 2016 Lineup Featuring Neon Indian, Best Coast And The Promise Ring

The spring music festival, The Grid, has just announced the lineup for this year’s event. Taking center stage this year are notable acts such as Questlove, Neon Indian, Best Coast, and Frank Turner.

The Grid NYC is similar to Austin’s SXSW, and features not only music performances, but a speaker series as well.

The Grid music festival will take place across three days, from the 5th to the 7th of May, 2016. The festival will be held in New York City with venues in Williamsburg, The Meatpacking District, and Union Square.

Tickets for the festival range from $59 to $249. Single day passes start at $59 for music only, $79 for General Admission, and $99 for VIP. The festival is aimed towards an audience that craves discovery and exploration. They hope to introduce its audience to new bands, and celebrate local New York artists. The Grid NYC wants to create a unique and memorable experience for its visitors, and does so through intimate performances and interesting speaker series.

Update: As of March 30, 2016 it has been reported that The Grid music festival has been cancelled. Refunds will be given to those who purchased tickets. However, it was noted that some venues might still proceed with select performances, but more information on this and more will be released via The Grid’s social media accounts.
