The lineup for the 2016 Northside Festival has just been announced. Headlining this year will be Beach Boys frontman Brian Wilson, singer-songwriter Conor Oberst, American country star Kacey Musgraves, and Canadian indie rock band Wolf Parade.
The festival will take place along seven days, between the 6th and 12th of June 2016 in Brooklyn, New York. The festival is similar to the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, as it features not only music, but showcases in technology, film, ideas and innovation.
Northside Festival takes place across the neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Greenpoint in Brooklyn, with its hub located at McCarren Park. The festival is separated into three categories: music, innovation, and content. The Content showcase will take place between June 6-8, Innovation will be held June 9-10, and the actual music festival will be held from June 9-12.
Tickets for the festival start at $75 for the Music Badge, $245 for the Innovation Badge, $245 for the Content Badge and $280 for the Premium Badge that will give you access to all three events. For more information on the tickets and how to purchase them, please click here.
Northside Festival started in 2009, with just over 50 performers. Since then, the Festival has increased significantly, featuring over 400 acts.
