The electronic-focused What The Festival has announced its 2016 lineup, and it includes names like Thievery Corporation, Bonobo, Claude Vonstroke, Lettuce, Lido and many more. The festival is held at Wolf Run Ranch in Dufur, Oregon and is located 90 miles to the east of Portland, OR. Taking place from June 17 – 20, during the summer solstice, the festival offers attendees the perfect place to take on a full-sensory experience. The remote ranch it is held at is surrounded by the Mt. Hood National Forest.
Festival passes, camping passes, and parking passes can all be found on the What The Festival site, here. While the festival begins on Friday the 17, early entry can be purchased for $50 and grants festival-goers the opportunity to enter the festival ground the day before on Thursday, June 16. The event is 18+
The festival has boasted some impressive lineups throughout the years, including Big Gigantic, Odesza and Griz in 2015, The Glitch Mob, Washed Out and RL Grime in 2014 and A-Trak and Purity Ring in 2013.
Headliner Thievery Corporation is a long-running fixture of the electronic dance music scene. The Washington, DC-based duo most recent album, Saudade was released in 2014 on their own Eighteenth Street Lounge Music label.
Passes to What The Festival include “walk in camping,” though car camping, RV camping and boutique camping ticket options are also available. Amenities at the festival include the Casbah Hookah Lounge, an Illuminated Forest, a Silent Disco, a Decked Out Cinema and an Oasis Spa. While it may be considered “camping,” those that attend the What The Festival are hardly going to have to “rough it.”
The festival will also include a DJ contest, with the winner playing at a poolside stage.
