It was previously announced by LCD Soundsyem guitarist James Murphy, that the band would embark on a world tour as part of their reunion. The band has now confirmed 13 performance at 12 festivals, both in the US and Europe.
More festival dates are expected to be announced, including an appearance at Lollapalooza in July, according to Consequence of Sound. LCD Soundsytem also plans to perform at two non-festival headlining shows in their hometown of New York City later in the year.
The band is also in the works of releasing their first album in six years in the near future.
