Pity Sex @ The Bowery Ballroom

Indie rock band, Pity Sex, announced earlier this week that they will be performing at The Bowery Ballroom on June 10 as part of their upcoming US tour.

The shoegazers from Ann Arbor, Michigan made their tour announcement in support of their anticipated album, White Hot Moon, which is set to be released sometime this spring. Up until recently, the band has remained pretty quiet. The announcement of a new record comes as a relief to fans who have been waiting for some new material for quite some time.  With the exception of a split the band did with Adventures in 2014, the new record will be their first major release in three years.

White Hot Moon, which will be the band’s sophomore record, has some pretty big shoes to fill. Their debut album, Feast of Love, came out in 2013 and has received overwhelmingly remarkable reviews from critics and has become a favorite among fans. In September last year, Pity Sex released What Might Soothe You?, their newest single from White Hot Moon. The song is on sale now for digital download as well as a limited edition 7” vinyl.

If you want to catch Pity Sex during their White Hot Moon Tour at The Bowery Ballroom, tickets go on general sale tomorrow, March 4th.
