Cate Le Bon has shared the first single from her forthcoming album, Crab Day, titled, “Wonderful.” Le Bon has also announced a string of tour dates in the month of May.
Le Bon plans to release her fourth album on April 15th. She will be playing special shows in L.A. and N.Y.C for the release of the album. Both shows will be backed by the band BANANA, who will open the show with a, “hypnotic set of minimal instrumental themes and variations.” Le Bon will perform the forthcoming album in it’s entirety at these two shows.
Her collaboration with White Stripes’ Tim Presley, Drinks, can be heard through the song. “With sax, xylophone and guitars all making an off-kilter racket,” according to Brooklyn Vegan.
In addition to all this information, Le Bon released the video for her newly released song, “Wonderful.” The video was directed by Casey Raymond, where Cate turns the song into a workout video.
