Bullet For My Valentine will return to the U.S. in May to begin a second tour for their released album, Venom. The 2015 album has spawned singles such as “Playing God” and “You Want A Battle? (Here’s A War)”. The tour will kick off at the Welcome to Rockville Festival in Jacksonville, FL and run through May, with guest appearances from Asking Alexandra and Cane Hill.
Bullet For My Valentine has never made their influences a secret and are known for channeling the metal Gods (Iron Maiden, Metallica, etc) in their music. This penchant for pastiche along with their stadium-ready lyrics and choruses have made the group the subject of both laud and derision. Critics have increasingly charged the band with loitering in their comfort zone, others have seen their latest work as a return to their roots. Not sure where you stand?
