SXSW 2016 Announces Eighth Round Of Performers Including Miike Snow, Baio And The Kills

SXSW (South by South West) has announced the eighth round of performers, via austin360, for the upcoming Music and Media Conference in March 2016. SXSW is proud to announce more exciting bands which include Miike Snow, Grizfolk, The Wild Reeds, X Ambassadors, Ghostland Observatory, The Kills, and plenty more. This year SXSW will take place March 15-20, 2016. In addition to the newly added artists, SXSW also provided the schedule that the new artists will be performing at so that people my plan their days accordingly.

SXSW is an annual gathering centered around film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences. It typically takes place during mid-March in Austin, Texas. It began in 1987, and has continuously grown in size each year following.

The SXSW Film Conference lasts five days and welcomes filmmakers of all levels: novice to professional. The programs held at the film conference typically consist of keynote speakers, panels, workshops, mentor sessions all led by expert filmmakers and industry leaders.

SXSW Music Festival showcases over 2,200 acts ranging from the unsigned to the most popular names in the music industry today. The music event also offers samples of artist’s music and video through SXSW’s official YouTube Channel.

SXSW Interactive’s primary purpose is to bring about new ideas, creative technologies and networking opportunities to ticket-holders.
