For the unfamiliar, Mothers is an Athens, Georgia band poised for a big 2016. And they’re coming back to Philly with a show at Johnny Brenda’s this April! You’ll want to grab your tickets for their April 27th show before they sell out.
This is one of those bands you need to see. They’ve been racking up a ton of positive press over the past few months, and the accolades show no signs of slowing down. Especially with new music on the way. Their debut LP, When You Walk a Long Distance You Are Tired, is due out at the end of this month, giving you plenty of time to listen before their upcoming gig at JB’s.
At even a first glance, it’s readily apparent that the lifeblood of this band is singer, Kristine Leschper. And it’s no wonder, as the project began as a solo project for her. But now, the four-piece is making a name for themselves, finding a spot on the Best of 2015 lists for several major publications. Grab your tickets now, and head to Johnny Brenda’s this April!
