Coinciding with their headlining slot at Bonnaroo, Dead & Company have announced an upcoming tour, which will see them hitting the road this summer. And they’ll be making their way to Philly (by way of Camden) with a show at BB&T Pavilion on June 20th. This is just another addition to what is shaping up to be a great summer of music at the newly renamed venue.
Dead & Company is the newest incarnation of the Grateful Dead, and is composed of former members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann. They’re joined by Jeff Chimenti, Oteil Burbridge, and John Mayer on vocals/guitar. Their first stop this summer will be their Bonnaroo performance on June 9th. They’ll kick off the rest of their tour the next day in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The supergroup joined forces last year, and played a well-received show at Wells Fargo in November. Tickets for their upcoming show kicked off this morning. This is going to be a hugely popular event, so grab those ASAP before they sell out.
