Kanye West has finally released his follow up to Yeezus, The Life of Pablo.
It has been months of build up as well as a confusing string of title changes (first So Help Me God, then SWISH, then Waves, and then, just last night, The Life of Pablo) followed by tracklist changes (“Only One,” “All Day,” “Wolves,” “Fade,” “FACTS,” “Real Friends,” “No More Parties in L.A.”), but the light has finally emerged at the end of the tunnel. Kanye West released his new album and the final title is The Life of Pablo. The final track list for the new album can be found bellow. The follow up to Yeezus was released during a live event in Madison Squeare Garden, according to Pitchfork. The live show was streamed live to theaters all across the world, as well as being broadcast on TIDAL. We all know Tidal as the Jay Z owned subscription based music streaming service that combines listless audio and high definition music videos with an editorial.
While the live event had some server difficulties during the stream, all other aspects couldn’t have gone smoother for West. Along with the debut of his new album, he also had a chance to launch his fashion line, Yeezy Season 3, during the show. All of this was accompanied by the supporting performance from conceptual artist Vanessa Beecroft. West played new tracks by Young Thug and Vic Mensa during the show as well as a preview to a video game about his mother ascending to heaven, called “Only One: The Game.” While the show is now officially come to a close there is a chance to catch the replay of the show on TIDAL.
