Clear your calendars on May 17th, because Hippo Campus are coming to town and they’re playing a show at the First Unitarian Church. Hopefully you had a chance to catch their energetic set at this past year’s Made in America Festival. Despite the small showing for their Tidal Stage debut, the band had the crowd going and definitely earned a few more fans that afternoon.
No doubt their upcoming May show at the First Unitarian Church will be even better, with the comfort of their headlining slot. The spring tour kicks off at the end of April in Fargo, North Dakota. And they’ll make their way to Philly come May 17th. On their site, they encourage fans to “bring your friend, bring your mom, bring your cat.” So, choose wisely. And we’ll see you at The FU Church on 5/17!
Support for this show will come from Riothorse Royale, a indie rock duo from Boston. On paper the two performers (Madi Diaz and Emily Greene) couldn’t possibly seem more different, but together they have found musical harmony. Head to the First Unitarian Church early to catch their opening set.
