Banners @ The Foundry 3/10

Sirius XM is serving up an exciting night of music next month at Philly’s The Foundry (located within The Fillmore). This is a great opportunity to see some up and coming bands in a very intimate setting. It’s all part of Sirius XM’s Advanced Placement Tour. The tour kicks off at the end of February in Minneapolis, and will go through the entire month of March, finally wrapping up in San Diego on the 31st.

For Philadelphians, you’ll want to make your way over to Fishtown on March 10th for The Foundry show. The event will feature performances from Banners, The Moth and the Flame, and POP ETC. First up is POP ETC, who just opened at Union Transfer last week for Oh Wonder’s sold out tour. The trio is set to release Souvenir, their second full-length album. They bring charisma to the stage, and their songs are catchy and fun, and definitely a must see.

The Moth and the Flame have been putting out music since 2011, and have been on several artists to watch lists. They hail from Utah, but are certainly no strangers to the Philly stage, having performed at Johnny Brenda’s this past October.

Finally, we have Banners, a singer out of the UK who is gaining momentum thanks to tracks like “Start a Riot” and “Shine a Light.” His music has been described as “at once haunting and hopeful.” This is his first tour in the US.

Whether you’re into one or all of these exciting new artists, the price is right for you to make this a must-attend event this March. Grab tickets for this one now. The Foundry is very tiny, and tickets will be limited.
