PJ Harvey has released the video for “The Wheel,” the first single off her highly-anticipated ninth album The Hope Six Demolition Project. The album is expected to be released April 15 and will be her first LP since 2011’s Let England Shake. Lead single “The Wheel” has been released, along with a music video for the track.
The video is filled with images from Kosovo, taken between 2011 and 2015, as the bluesy, brass and drum-driven song is inspired by the artist’s travels about the territory.
Whether she is writing songs, selling her lyrics, playing live music, or covering our favorite stuck-in-the-90’s tracks, Harvey is always hustling for her fans. This year is no different; the singer-songwriter has busy summer ahead, as her band will perform at many highly-anticipated festivals across Europe this summer.
