Alternative gothic rock duo She Wants Revenge will be performing at the Fonda Theatre on February 17. The date will be just a decade over the release of their debut album released in 2006. Since then, the group has seen the release of two more albums: “This is Forever” in 2007 and “Valleyheart” in 2011.
She Wants Revenge is inspired by The Cure and Bauhaus, and it is clear to hear the similarities in the groups. Despite the commonalities, the group has rising and taken flight, fully realizing a sound all their own. On their latest album, they reminded listeners through deep lyrics that all humans endlessly struggle to connect with someone who makes them feel good and yet somewhat bad too.
