Rock Werchter Announces 2016 Lineup Featuring At The Drive-In, Savages And Courtney Barnett

Rock Werchter has announced their official 2016 lineup, including artists like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Offspring, Florence + The Machine, Courtney Barnett, and Disclosure.

Rock Werchter is an annual rock music festival located in the village of Werchter. The festival began in 1974 as a one-day event and has grown into Belgium’s largest music festival. Originally, the festival had two locations: one in Werchter and one in Torhout. In 1999, the festival dropped the Torhout site and has taken place only in Werchter since then. Since 2003, Werchter has been a four-day festival. This year, it takes place June 30 – July 3, 2016.

The International Live Music Conference (ILMC) awarded Rock Werchter the Arthur award for best festival in the world in 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2012, and 2014. 

Bestival’s official website says tickets to Rock Werchter 2016 are exclusively available through Ticketmaster and Proximus. The prices are below.

• Combi festival ticket (June 30 – July 3): 236 euro
• One day ticket Thursday, June 30: 100 euro
• One day ticket Friday, July 1: 100 euro
• One day ticket Saturday, July 2: 100 euro
• One day ticket Sunday, July 3: 100 euro
