Local music heroes, Dr. Dog are headed back home for not one, but two performances at everyone’s new favorite music venue, The Fillmore. Grab your tickets now for one (or both) of these shows. You can catch Dr. Dog at The Fillmore on March 17th and then again a month later on April 16th. If you need a differentiating factor, you can consider their opening acts. The March show will feature fellow Philadelphians, Hop Along. While the April show will showcase support from Speedy Ortiz. Both should be equally great, so we’d recommend grabbing tickets for both!
Their newest record, Psychedelic Swamp is due out on February 5th. If you’re a fan of the pre-order, you’ll be treated to an instant download of “Badvertise” and “Bring My Baby Back.”
The guys will kick of their extensive tour in just a few days with a bunch of West Coast dates. Other opening acts that will make appearances on the lengthy tour include fellow Philadelphians Son Little and The Districts, as well as Texas bands Wild Child and The Bright Light Social Hour.
