If you haven’t yet heard the new Miike Snow track, “Genghis Khan,” you’ve likely been living under a rock. The video for which has just been released and is a James Bond parody of sorts, taking its cues from the 1964 film Goldfinger.
“Genghis Khan” is their second single off their highly anticipated upcoming album. In October of last year they released “Heart is Full,” which later got a remix from Run the Jewels. This track was notable because it was their first release in three years. Their third EP, iii, is due out this March.
The trio will head out on an upcoming spring tour in support of their upcoming album, that will kick off on March 3rd in New York. That show will also be their record release show. And just a few days later, they’ll arrive here in Philadelphia for a show at The TLA. In addition to their headlining tour, Miike Snow will also be making several festival stops, including Coachella, Hangout Fest, and GovBall.
The band described their upcoming release as their “most innovative and creatively unified work thus far,” continuing that “it’s the original Miike Snow sound, but taken to the next level.” Hear for yourself this March when they take the stage at The TLA.
