Soul-drenched southern-rockers, Alabama Shakes seek to shake things up the only way they know how with the advent of an impressive North American tour this coming Spring.  Slated to kick-off in Nashville, TN after a 5-run-gig through the heart of South America, including: Columbia’s own Festival Estereo Picnic and two Lollapalooza’s (one in Brazil and Chile), the Shakes will shop their latest, 2015’s grammy-nominated Sound & Color in the spirit of old-school rhythm and blues.

Hailing from Athens, Alabama, it should be no big surprise the bulk of their tour through the states will see the Shakes dive directly into the Southland, paying homage to familiar folk.  The Alabama Shakes will cruise such mainstays as: Charlotte, North Carolina’s Uptown Theater on April 22nd, smaller, personalized venues: Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Track 29 on April, as well as flagship-festival’s: Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL and Sasquatch! in George, WA.  Known for their uncanny-ability to diversify, the Shakes plan to diverge from the beaten-path and also throw in a show here-&-there at British Columbia’s Festival Lawn at Deer Lake Park and London, England’s Hyde Park at British Summer Time before wrapping-things-up at the towering Forecastle festival in Louisville, KY on July 16th.

Ticket pre-sales start Wednesday, January 20 at 12pm EST.  Tickets for the general-public will be made available the following Friday, January 22.
