The countdown for Mysteryland ticket sales begins — three days until the EDM crowd can get their admission to the world’s longest running electronic music and arts festival. Mysteryland will run from June 10 through June 13 in Bethel Woods, NY. If that name sounds familiar, you may recognize it as the old stomping grounds for the 1969 Woodstock.
There’s an impressive lineup of EDM artists, featuring headliners Odesza, Skrillex and Bassnectar. Other artists include The Chainsmokers, Emancipator, Young Thug and Gramatik.
Not only has headliner Odesza climbed the electric music ladder in recent years like an Olympic sport, topping charts since their debut in 2012, but they also created their own app in November. It keeps fans posted with the latest music, videos, and tour dates. Skrillex just released their single “Stranger” yesterday, with 100% of the song’s proceeds going to “organizations serving children and youth.” As for Bassnectar, their album Into the Sun came out last year, featuring 16 tracks and a mixtape, and the band will go on tour in March.
All the younger EDM devotees can officially start a dance party, as Mysteryland has lowered its minimum age from 21 to 19. Ticket prices start at $209 for general admission. With a campsite (and who wouldn’t want to camp on Woodstock’s hallowed grounds?), general admission tickets cost $294. Even better is that Mysteryland falls in between New York’s Governors Ball Music Festival (June 3-5) and the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival (July 13-16), so you won’t even have to pick and choose.
Tickets to Mysteryland can be purchased on the Mysteryland website starting Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. EST.
