I hope you know Fall Out Boy because they’re one of the most popular alternative bands of the 2000s to present. Fall Out Boy is touring to promote their new album American Beauty/American Psycho. The album reached #1 on the Billboard 200 charts, so it has got to be excellent. Originating from the Chicago hardcore punk scene in the early 2000’s, Fall Out Boy continues to be a relevant rock band from their debut album Take This to Your Grave till present day. The group sells out tremendous venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York City and Wembley Arena in London. Fall Out Boy’s popularity extends well outside the United States. The band is lead by Patrick Stump who released his own solo album titled Soul Punk in 2011. Any Fall Out Boy fans or alternative, punk rock fans should check out the record.
If you’ve been listening to the radio the past week or so you’ve probably heard Awolnation’s famous song Sail which continues to top the Billboard charts years after its release in 2011. In case you don’t know Awolnation, they’re an American electronic rock band. Electronic meets rock? Sounds interesting, right? Awolnation is dynamic and brings a massive impact on American alternative music with their new twist on the genre. The band is touring along with Fall Out Boy to promote their second album Run which released in March 2015.
