Love moshing? Well, look no further on the last Saturday night of March. Enjoy a sweaty, exhilarating night moshing to Citizen and Turnover, two American alternative rock bands with heavy, rough around the edges style. 2015 was a packed year for Citizen and Turnover. Citizen released Everybody Is Going To Heaven while Turnover released Peripheral Vision. Now the groups are touring to promote their album releases.
Also, expect them to play some songs from their collaborative EP titled Citizen/Turnover released in 2012. Their EP begins with four tough drumstick hits and full-force guitar strokes to start off their song Drown. The heaviness stays constant throughout the album but the listener can take a small, minute break from the overwhelmingly powerful EP in the song I’m Sick Of Waiting. The matching of these two bands is a perfect pairing of alternative, punk goodness. Both are on the label Run for Cover which includes greats like Elvis Depressedly and Pity Sex.
Two headliners and two openers in one night for $17!? That’s a steal to say the least. Grab some rocker friends and get ready to have a Saturday night you’ll be telling everyone about for months. I wouldn’t plan on sleeping too much the night of the show because your body will be buzzing from post-concert adrenaline. Don’t miss headliners Citizen and Turnover and openers Sorority Noise and Milk Teeth!
