The massive metal festival Hellfest unleashed a stellar lineup, including headliners Bring Me The Horizon, Disturbed, Black Sabbath, Ghost, and Megadeth. As one of the best music festivals of Europe, Hellfest offers six stages and over 150 bands that feature everything from the fusion of folk metal to the Norse-inspired Viking metal. The three-day passes to the annual, acclaimed event that launches in Clisson, France in mid-June are already sold out, even with over twenty bands yet to be announced.
For the past ten years, the mind-blowing event has highlighted the extremes of metal, hard-rock, and punk for three days with a unique dedication to extreme music. Hellfest was born first in 2000 as Furyfest, a festival that met its end five years later due to financial difficulties. The people working for Furyfest contacted sponsors to revive the music festival’s legacy and the rest is history.
