Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton took to Twitter last week to explain why he no longer listens to other bands’ demos. As reported by loudwire.com, Morton revealed that the band was once sued after being accused of releasing another band’s demos as their own music.
Many famous bands have kicked off successful careers by getting their demos in the hands of the right person, but in today’s lawsuit heavy climate, things are no longer quite so simple.

Lamb of God’s most recent album, VII: Sturm und Drang, was released on July 24 of this year. The band will kick off the new year with series of shows across America, touring with Anthrax, Deafheaven, and Kylesa.
