Eastenders Fans Think Oasis Cover Band Is The Real Thing When They Appeared On The Show

While Oasis hasn’t performed live together since 2009, some fans were briefly fooled into thinking the band had reunited for a performance on the British soap opera EastEnders.

The band was not in fact Oasis, but rather a cover band called Noasis, performing for Danny Dyer’s character’s stag party on the show.

As reported by NME, Dyer stated, “I love Oasis, so we got Noasis, the tribute band, and a big ice thing called a luge that you drink vodka through. It was the ultimate bender in the Vic.”

Many fans took to Twitter to post their reactions to what they thought was a rare Oasis performance.

Oasis has been inactive since 2009, when Liam Gallagher left the band due to tensions with his brother Noel. The rest of the band members continued to perform together until 2014 as Beady Eye, but have since disbanded. Noel Gallagher currently records and performs music for his own band, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
