Coldplay Announces Collaboration With Beyonce And Rihanna At Superbowl Halftime Show

Coldplay has been officially announced as the Super Bowl half-time show performance with frequent talk of collaborations with familiar faces like Rihanna and Beyoncé. Next year’s half-time show will be another unforgettable experience with superstar artists to lead us into the second half of the game. It is only natural for such a highly anticipated event to be supported by music’s biggest names. In the past, the 2012 Superbowl half-time show featured Madonna who performed with Nicki Minaj and MIA.

Both Rihanna and Beyoncé have previously worked with Coldplay. Rihanna was featured on the track ‘Princess Of China’ from their 2011 album Mylo Xyloto. While, Beyoncé appeared on two tracks from the band‘s recent LP A Head Full Of Dreams.

The Daily Mirror reported, “Chris and his band know they’re not typically as showy as recent performers like Katy Perry and Madonna with all the dancers and, while they love a light show, they still want to bring a few surprises out,” in addition the source said, “Beyonce and Rihanna are both keen to join in the high-profile ceremony and will add just the spark needed to make it an amazing and unforgettable show.”

The Superbowl will be held on February 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
