The Deftones documentary, Entertain Me: A Film About Deftones, has been delayed from its December 26 release date.

It has been fifteen years since the Deftones documentary, Entertain Me: A Film About Deftones, has been announced and it finally had December 26 release date for this year. Unfortunately the film has been delayed by its creator, Andrew Bennet, as reported by LoudWire according to a post made from the Polish Deftones fan page. The page is called Deftones Zone.

According to Loudwire, Bennet made an official statement about the documentary release saying,
“I am officially making it available to the most amazing fans in the world, starting 12/26/2015. It will be 10 bucks for the full and clean resolution download of the final edit of this film. Please note, that I saw the leak, and that version is so old it’s not even funny.
To recap: Entertain Me: A Film About Deftones, the real, uncut, director’s final version will be officially released on 12/26/2015. The website is being finalised today. I hope you all enjoy it, sorry it only took 15 years to get out.”

It wasn’t until a couple days after this original statement that was made that Deftones Zone made an anoucement via their facebook page about the release. In the post Bennett explains that there was a security issue that delayed the release. While the exact security issue was not explained the main message behind Bennett’s response was that there is no reason to fret. The Deftones documentary is still set to be released in the near future and there won’t be another 15 year gap to slow it down.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
