The SNL band Blue Jean Committee has released their video for their single “Catalina Breeze.” The former SNL cast members Fred Armisen and Bill Hader, were so into the smooth sound of the 1970’s rock, they decided to make an album, Catalina Breeze, and then they decided to make a spoof of that album.
The video for “Catalina Breeze,” the self-titled single from the album shows that the band enjoys playing together as well as goofing around. There are anonymous video shots of the band just having a good old fashioned time in the middle of the recording for the music video. Hader and Armisen never stop being funny and the video is hilarious when it goes between the band footage to the individual footage of the band members themselves. The video was directed by Rhys Thomas and Alex Buono.
