The Stokes have not released an album in three years. Their newest album will come out next year. The band has not released the details of the album name or the tracks, but while they were in the middle of touring and getting ready for gigs, the idea came into their head to make some new material and the band rented out some recording studios to prepare fore the upcoming music ideas that will be flowing out of their fingertips.
A recent Instagram post by Victoria Records’ Victoria Morales-Kühne, shows a picture of the band inside a recording studio announcing to the world that they are making a new album. Julian Casablancas, the singer from The Strokes, told fans a few months ago that the group was in the midst of recording a new album. But new information is slowly trickling in as to how many tracks are located on the album and how much longer it would be before any music videos or singles are released. “When one of your favorite bands in the world contacts you months in advance to rent your studio B to record drums and studio A to rehearse and you’re just grateful. WHAT IS LIFE RIGHT NOW?!!,” says CEO Victoria Morales-Kühne in the caption of her Instagram post.
