Eagles of Death Metal asked musicians to cover their Zipper Down song, “I Love You All The Time” as part of Sweet Stuff Foundation’s “Play It Forward” Campaign. The campaign was created in order to aid victims of the November 13 Paris attack. Today, the band released several covers from bands like Kings of Leon, Florence & The Machine, Savages, My Morning Jacket, and Jimmy Eat World. Pearl Jam released a digital single featuring a live cover of EODM’s “I Want You So Hard” as well as drummer Matt Cameron’s cover of “I Love You All The Time”.
The Sweet Stuff Foundation was founded to give assistance to career musicians, recording engineers, and their families struggling with illness and disability. Until December 31, all donations made through the website will be donated to the Paris victims and the family of fallen Eagles of Death Metal brother, Nick Alexander.
