WATCH: David Bowie Releases Trailer For Single “Lazarus”

David Bowie has just released a teaser to the next single, “Lazarus,” off of his unreleased new album, Blackstar.

Blackstar is set to be released on January 8 on Iso/RCA. This, however, has not stopped Bowie from pleasing his fans with some material along the way. Following his already released debut title track, Bowie has just released a short teaser trailer for his next single, “Lazarus.” The trailer for the next single can be seen below. The full track will be released on December 17.

This 15 second teaser is the first version of this song to be sung by Bowie himself. As reported by Pitchfork, the track can be seen performed live in the new theatrical adaptation, led my Michael C. Hall. While David Bowie has not seen the stage in a decade, the song will be performed live off Broadway by Michael C. Hall and the entire cast on December 17 on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
