Less than a month after wrapping a phenomenally-successful Fall-tour in support of their late-great, The Most Lamentable Tragedy, New Jersey indie-punkers, Titus Andronicus show no signs of slowing their roll by releasing plans for an upcoming tour this Spring.
Poised for a perilous plan of action, Titus Andronicus, which derive their own moniker after Shakespeare’s play of the same name, seek to take their fully-functional “dog-&-pony” act on the road with the aid of the Hold Steady‘s ever-so-clever wordsmith, Craig Finn.
Titus Andronicus frontman, Patrick Stickles details his glee in touring with Craig Finn:
“If I have one regret about 2015, it is that I didn’t enunciate more. I will be grateful for the opportunity to observe the verbal dexterity of Craig [Finn], night after night, so that I might learn some valuable lessons from one of rock’s great communicators.”
Craig Finn holds much of the same lamented-favor for his forthcoming tour-mates:
“The best show I saw in 2015 was Titus Andronicus at Shea Stadium, and I was also lucky enough to be invited on stage that evening. I very much look forward to being able to be playing alongside this amazing and important band for all these shows.”
Stickles finishes through personal-acknowledgement:
“Ever since he first trusted me, so many years ago, to take care of his cat when he was out of town, Craig Finn has been a special friend to me and to the whole Titus Andronicus organization. His love has been a great gift, a gift that we can’t wait to share with rockers everywhere.”
