Megadeth Announce Winter 2016 Tour Dates With Suicidal Tendencies And Children Of Bodom

Megadeth have announced tour dates in February and March 2016 with support from Suicidal Tendencies, Children of Bodom and Havok. The dates will span the United States and Canada, beginning February 20 and ending March 24.

According to Loudwire, lead vocalist and guitarist Dave Mustaine has been excited about this tour’s lineup. Last month, while Megadeth were still trying to get confirmation of the lineup, Mustaine said that if it works out, it would be “a cool, cool lineup.”

The tour is in support of Megadeth’s forthcoming album, Dystopia, which will be released January 22, 2016. In addition to the newly-announced tour dates, Megadeth will be performing at Monster Energy’s Fort Rock 2016 on April 30 in Fort Myers, Florida. Following that, they will play at Monster Energy’s Welcome to Rockville 2016 on May 1 in Jacksonville, Florida.

The band gained new guitarist earlier this year, Angra’s Kiko Loureiro, to replace previous guitarist Chris Broderick after he left Megadeth due to ‘artistic and musical differences.’
