Ben Folds will be continuing his extensive North American tour in support of his 2015 album So There.
The veteran songwriter premiered his “Concerto For Piano and Orchestra” with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra in 2014, and since then has spent much of his time touring worldwide. He has released over a dozen albums between his solo career and with his former band, The Ben Folds Five. So There garnered many positive reviews praising Folds as a progressive, forward-thinking musicians who doesn’t rest on his laurels.
Folds will be joined on the tour by his collaborators from the new record, Brooklyn-based chamber ensemble yMusic.
The tour begins stateside in the south, before a stretch of shows in the northeast and mid-west, with several Canadian dates mixed in. Tickets went on sale, Wednesday, Dec. 9.
