Carly Rae Jepsen announced she will begin a U.S. tour in February of next year, supporting her 2015 LP Emotion.
This year’s record was Jepsen’s third, following her 2012 effort Kiss which featured mega-hit single “Call Me Maybe”, which was pretty much inescapable in the early part of the decade.
She released an interactive video for one of the single’s off her most recent album, “Run Away With Me” which was actually pretty creative.
She also recently covered the holiday song, WHAM!’s “Last Christmas”, which she’ll be performing on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Dec. 16.
Jepsen is looking forward to the tour, saying “Working on this album has been the passion project of my life and playing these songs live feels like an absolute celebration. Can’t wait to come share that feeling with my fans.”
