La Fête est Finie, which translates into The Party Is Over, is a new film satirizing attitudes towards climate change. The short film stars Fiona O’Shaughnessy (“Utopia”), and Natasha O’Keefee (“Peaky Blinders”, “Sherlock- The Abominable Bride”), is playing now to coincide with the COP21 summit in Paris.
The film was scored by Massive Attacks 3D, aka Robert Del Naja, who teamed up with Young Fathers. Forest Swords produced the films music in support of their ongoing collaboration with Massive Attack. Below is part of a statement released by the films director Mark Donne and 3D via Pitchfork.

There must be a legally binding deal on emissions reductions. The poorer nations on earth must receive the support they desperately need from the rich, so they can prepare for the damage caused by climate change and invest in clean technologies to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
This film is a cultural contribution to the global public atmosphere that now demands that these imperatives are achieved by our governments.
