Samuel T. Herring and William Cashion of Future Islands have a side project called the Snails who just released a new Christmas song. The track is titled “Snails Christmas (I Want A New Shell)” in anticipation of the upcoming holiday.
The song is as Christmas as Christmas gets. It involves jingle bells. The beat is mainly all jingle bells. According to Stereogum, the band will release their follow up of 2013’s Worth The Wait with Songs From The Shoebox in the near future. Fingers crossed it will be a Christmas album.
Sam Herring, frontman of Future Islands, recently debuted a new song with BadBadNotGood at show in LA. Herring isn’t slowing down on the side projects. He recently announced his latest hip-hop endeavor; teaming up with Madlib for a project called Trouble Knows Me.
