BadBadNotGood gave fans special treat on Friday night when they brought out Sam Herring, front-man for Future Islands, to debut a new song.
As mentioned on ConsequenceofSound, BadBadNotGood was doing a show for Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days in LA series at Tower Theatre.
The surprise debut performance held close to the essence of the new song. Dreamy, jazzy and mellow with Herring providing a heart-felt performance that needed little more than his voice to back it up. With a strong jazz base, backed by soulful instrumentals, Herring and BadBadNotGood really have a wonderful piece of music on their hands. After listening to it a few times, I found myself going back and infectiously singing along with it over and over.
